Upper Alde-Ore Estuary: Survey access between 8th and 17th November – Wintering Bird & Mollusc Surveys

Surveyors will be continuing the wintering bird surveys from Mon 13^th November in all flood cells. This will involve one survey visit per month between October 2023 and March 2024. This will be completed over two days per month at FC05 Iken, due to the length of survey area and tide restrictions. The continuation of the mollusc surveys will be on the 8^th & 9^th November, most likely only within FC05 Iken. Our surveyors will follow all agreed biosecurity, sign-in and access arrangements. If surveyors start early before office hours, the surveyors will not provide a courtesy knock at the FC’s with farm offices when they arrive. At Hill Farm,  we have agreed that the lead surveyor will phone the office upon completion at FC05 Iken or before 4pm office closure if still out on site.
