ScottishPower Renewables (SPR) will be undertaking infiltration testing in the East Anglia ONE North and East Anglia TWO onshore development area from Monday 22nd April – Friday 31st May 2024.

As part of these works, SPR’s contractors will be testing 28 infiltration pits across the development area, 20 along the cable route and eight in the substation development area. The work will involve digging a small hole, filling it with water and monitoring how long it takes to soak away.

Our contractors will be on site from 7.30am – 5.30pm and there will be no more than two Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) movements per day. Advance warning signage has been put in place near access routes to advise the public of construction traffic.

Please note, this work is taking place on private land with permission from landowners and we have liaised with local parish councils ahead of these works.
