Aldeburgh welcomes responsible dog owners and there are many excellent walks through the town and the surrounding area. Footpaths are well-signposted and dog owners are encouraged to stick to marked paths. Please be aware that some footpaths cross grazing marshes and walkers might well be joined by inquisitive livestock. It is essential you clean up after your dog and there are many disposal bins throughout the town.
Access to beaches: dogs are not allowed on the town beach between May 1 and September 30. This is the area between the Brudenell Hotel and the Maggi Hambling shell scuplture. There is a short no-dog zone on the beach at Thorpeness.
Report an overflowing Dog Bin by calling East Suffolk NORSE on 03450 402020 or Email: esn.info@ncsgrp.co.uk
