Code of Conduct
Under the Localism Act 2011 the council must adopt a code of conduct which sets out what is expected of members and co-opted members of parish councils. A councillor is subject to statutory rules about how they conduct themselves as a representative of the council.
On 9th October 2023, Aldeburgh Town Council resolved to adopt the Local Government Association Code of Conduct.
