HIS ROYAL HIGHNESS THE PRINCE PHILIP, DUKE OF EDINBURGH

HIS ROYAL HIGHNESS THE PRINCE PHILIP,
DUKE OF EDINBURGH

The Mayor, Councillors and Officers of Aldeburgh Town Council are deeply saddened to learn of the death of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. Our thoughts are with Her Majesty the Queen and other members of the Royal family at this tremendously poignant time.

With effect from today (9 April 2021) there will be a period of national mourning.

As a mark of respect, the Union Flag will fly at half-mast on Moot Green. An online Book of Condolence has been placed at www.suffolk.gov.uk/condolences

Further information will be provided in due course at www.aldeburghtowncouncil.co.uk to ensure that all residents are provided with the information they require to pay their respects to the Duke of Edinburgh and his life of service to the country, the Commonwealth and the world.
