11am – 4pm Christmas Tree Festival and activities throughout the day including readings from Dickens, flower arranging demonstrations and carol singing with Red House Scratch Choir. Aldeburgh Parish Church, Victoria Rd

11.30am RNLI Lifeboat Launch to commemorate the 120th anniversary of the Aldeburgh Lifeboat disaster. Lifeboat Station, Crag Path

12pm Fisher’s Gin Palace opens. Beach Lodge, next to the Brudenell Hotel, The Parade

12 – 4pm Ale tasting with Wolf Brewery.  Russell and Newnes, 186 High St

1pm Parish Church bells ring to announce Santa’s arrival at the  Baptist Chapel

1 – 4pm Aldeburgh Museum’s Dickens Trail.
Collect a copy from the church, museum, library or cinema and follow Mr Pickwick’s window quiz around the town.

1 – 4.30pm The Red House Shuttlebus will provide a free circular drop off service between the events in the town.
