Planning

Aldeburgh Town Council acts as advisory body in respect of planning applications. Suffolk Coastal District Council is the authority which makes planning decisions.

To view planning applications for the Aldeburgh area, click on to the following link:

www.eastsuffolk.gov.uk/planning/planning-applications/public-access

Then, click on to “search for planning applications on public access”

Then, click on to “weekly/monthly lists”

Insert Aldeburgh into the Parish and Ward panels, fill in the dates and planning applications will appear.

Although Aldeburgh Town Council cannot make decisions about planning applications, it can make representations on behalf of local residents and business owners. Please contact the Town Clerk via email if you have a planning issue:  info@aldeburghtowncouncil.co.uk
